**My Father's Journey to Korea in 1953 🇹🇷🇰🇷** Turkish military units joined the Korean War in 1950 with the aim of bringing peace to Korea. The deployment of soldiers continued until 1953, and my father was among the last to go. The journey was very long, and by the time my father’s military unit arrived in Korea, the war had already ended. Maybe they couldn’t participate in the war, but my father and his comrades tried to heal the wounds of the war. They tried to help the local people forget the pain of the war. My father used to tell us that the people had suffered greatly before, during, and after the war 😔. He always referred to the Korean people as "My Korean Brothers" 💜. The soldiers who went there also endured many hardships. In a documentary I watched, it was mentioned that captured soldiers were starved for three years, and many died of hunger and disease 😢. Since a peace agreement has not been signed, the war technically seems to still be ongoing. I hope this agreemen…

Koreans call Turkey their brother's country. Your sacrifices have made Korea what it is today.
