Content coins will work if you get people to post them with sufficient quantity and frequency. Until then, there will be a lot of push back. But the only way through is posting more. Swap "being cool" with "established coin norms" and "being cringe" with "creating more coins".

I am not a trader. I buy things more often than not because I like them. This often gets my ass handed to me, but I am who I am. I think if the market were full of people like me, this works with no issues. A world of collectors makes onchain content great for creators. The issue that I see is that it is not the Web3 we live in. Speculation runs rampant. Markets are immature. Something like today's Zora launch has seemed inevitable as a downside risk ever since I familiarized myself with the platform. I liked what Jesse said today about changing the mechanics. If we want to see a world where this would work, which is not the world we exist in today, it is up to all of us to change the culture. I get that the tech was made for a future where things aren't as bad as they are now, and I empathize as someone who would love nothing more than to see good actors in Web3 start winning over the bad ones. Unfortunately, that isn't today. Pumpfun showed us we are far, far away from that future.
