Fair warning: if you keep replying with slop to accounts that don’t follow or engage with you, you’ll end up labeled as spam. Be thoughtful. The GPT-assisted attempts are obvious. OK to have a few replies that don’t get any engagement. But if you reply to pretty much every cast and nothing, the problem is most likely you. No one is entitled to another person’s attention.

Let's say I send a tip on someone's post (eg 🍖x100) and nothing else. They see it, they appreciate it, but they may or may not like it, or respond to the comment. If that happens enough times will the account be labeled as spam? If yes then I'd push people towards using the cast action, or just using the like button to tip.

Text based tipping was a clever workaround before cast actions IMHO. But don't make as much sense anymore. Remember chatting about tipping with @v and @owocki before Degen came to be and I couldn't foresee this workaround. Props to whoever thought about it from the degen team 👏

You can tip $HAM simply by liking casts. Likes default to 1 $HAM tipped if you have $HAM in your wallet, which most probably do from getting likes from others w/ $HAM in their wallet.

Yes, I thought that was also really cool! More embedded into the UX
