will start sharing some more market takes here now, but damn, it's amazing to see how much the VC class is fading Ethereum L2s

sure, most have some L2 exposure, but intellectually, they've totally aligned elsewhere

i think induced demand from massive new L2 capacity + the ability to transact in ETH will shock people

my challenge as an ‘investor’ is forming a thesis around which L2s to buy. They’re all competing . Every new L2 diverts capital, and I’m left to wonder if ETH is simply the better play

makes sense, I learned the hard way last cycle that choosing those apps is v difficult (ETH destroyed all my DeFi tokens in comparison lol)

ETH is a good play to capture gains in the broader ecosystem without the risk of individual pieces

but there will be apps, etc. on individual L2s, and individual L2s, which will outpace it

i'm mostly ETH, but i like to dabble to earn more ETH
