Makes sense. Follow up: do you think founding members of a blockchain should behave differently, in that sense, than founders of a company?

I don’t expect it of them.

It also wouldn’t surprise me given the altruistic and purist reputations some ecosystems (like ETH) have historically had. Combine that ethos with massive early wealth creation, and hence the curiosity.

Yeah, that's fair.

It'd be values aligned, but honestly I think executives of successful orgs should be surviving purely on incentive based comp — possibly atop a nominal base wage.
