Agreed. I don’t exactly mind them how they are now but if I’m just hanging out casually I don’t mind them being more intrusive and showing me the content a la iOS banner notifications

Yeah exactly. What I really want is like a little notifications "tray" that I can just put somewhere in my environment and it just fills up with notifications as they come in, and I can engage with them when I want to by just glancing over to where that is in space.
