The crypto ecosystem having 100's of L1's never stopped certain L1's from growing and gaining marketshare over others. Similarly, Ethereum having lots of L2's isn't a bearish thing - a small number of L2's will be successful and gain significant marketshare, the rest will fade

I think the best long term move for Ethereum is to use stablecoins to vampire attack the traditional finance system bringing more money into Ethereum while building more projects that build on ETH's value like SAI, GHO, LUSD allowing ETH to become a primary asset in DeFi.
