Working from her studio in Montreal, Canada, Ishita is a modern Cubist artist and abstract expressionist.
Traditionally trained as a fine artist, with a BFA and an MFA, Ishita’s art is an assimilation of her roots & life experiences. Merging imagination & memory to create vivid & bold abstracts, people, faces & non-traditional portraiture, rendered in strong color & details
She is deeply inspired by the Cubist style of art, unconstrained, outside the lines, breaking free of traditional rules of perspectives, & the role of interpretational abstracts.
She has spent a decade, bridging her traditional art practice with digital technology in the world of Web3. She's active in the contemporary art world & in the web3 space as a successful artist, an active speaker, brand partner & educator.
