being a parent is both difficult and rewarding. i think those two words go hand in hand with parenthood. the rewards push you to go through the work ( of raising your children ) despite it being challenging. thats human motivation i guess in a nutshell. on the other hand, is doing the work really difficult? or is it simply because the work does not directly benefit you but another human being? does parenthood start when you stop doing the work for your own self?
