Each day in the field brings new challenges—weathering unpredictable conditions, navigating dense forests, or staying still for hours on end, waiting for that perfect moment. The animals, too, are unpredictable; they do not perform for the camera, yet it is in those unscripted moments that the most stunning images are born. A leopard resting in the dappled sunlight, a cheetah’s piercing gaze locking with mine—these fleeting encounters remind me why I do this. It's not just about the photographs, but about preserving a piece of the wild before it disappears forever.
