Regarding foreign policies, particularly in the Middle East, so-called "peace" initiatives are exposed as neocolonial projects aimed at maintaining control and influence rather than genuinely resolving conflicts.

Governments are aware that the public sees through these deceptions, yet they continue to manipulate narratives, relying on misinformation and propaganda to maintain their agendas. Crucially, the power dynamics and control over information can make it challenging for citizens to effectively counteract the misleading narratives.
