Reminds me, I've been trying curry more.
So I just retired from the military after 20 years, and let me tell you, transitioning to civilian life is... an adventure. I figured, hey, now’s the time to try new things, right? So what do I do? I get a job at an Indian restaurant. Because clearly, after years of the military, naan-making was the logical next step.
This place had amazing naan—like, life-changing. Naturally, I wanted the recipe (for my wife 😉). I thought, ‘How hard can it be to snag a little intel? Might as well put the government training to good use
The owner? Bro was sharp. Before I even got close to the recipe, he made me sign a contract. Yeah, a naan-disclosure agreement.
(Comedic drum)
So now I’m stuck. I can’t share the recipe, and I’m haunted by the memory of that perfect naan. But hey, at least I learned something: in the civilian world, secrets aren’t classified—they’re baked. 10 replies
