it’s been like 20 years so idk since i’m saying this summer was definitely the best forest services i’ve ever seen. when i was in boulder we had fires moving in but prevented, utah seems much better prepared

Oh I completely agree and 20 years is a perfect time to see the fruits of the past finds spent. Especially in something that gets less and less prioritization over time. I'm not saying that's a reason, I have zero clue (I've been out of the fire service loop for a while... 20 years actually)
