So I kept conversing. The companies linkedin is broken so I was still on the hook as this may still be real.

Their response is also semi true as I have been going to a lot of career fairs and sending directly is better.

I looked up and found the REAL person 

(Remember he said he didn't have one?)

Also, luckily his work experience shows he no longer works with @centrifuge

So I reach out to him.

*Key point... Never rush... If they want to hire YOU they will appreciate you doing your research first.

He responded... He still does work for the BUT... He confirmed... @mrlawyer88 is NOT 🚫 him...

Notice how he didn't respond when I told him I found him on LinkedIn?

I didn't call him out yet as I don't want to unintentionally call someone a scammer 

After all it was the weekend, not everyone checks their messages every day...

But once I got confirmation... I responded appropriately...

Update, they "may" have been using this person's name but added -eth

Or they just changed it by taking out -eth

Literally my first day back in 2021 someone tried to scam me because I was asking people for help.

They look for people asking for help.

really scary with this guy, regardless ☹️, we will have to be more careful, especially with new people who don't have much experience

It's not fair to all of us

I did this to show everyone how much time and effort they put into scamming instead of just working and earning legitimately.
