Crypto Biz: Goldman Sachs stacks ETH, BTC

Goldman Sachs has significantly increased its Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF holdings, signaling a major shift in its stance on crypto. The bank now holds over $1.28 billion in Bitcoin ETFs and $476 million in Ethereum ETFs. Tokyo-based Metaplanet’s stock surged 4,800% after adding Bitcoin to its balance sheet, with plans to acquire up to 21,000 BTC by 2026. Japanese gaming firm Gumi also invested 1 billion yen ($6.6M) in Bitcoin for staking. Meanwhile, stablecoin USDC has rebounded, surpassing a $56.1 billion market cap as adoption grows across multiple blockchains.
