Donald Trump plans to sign an executive order that will make cryptocurrency a national priority. About it writes the Bloomberg agency, citing knowledgeable sources.

The decree, which may be signed on January 20, assumes that regulatory bodies will work with the cryptocurrency industry, as well as create a council to represent the interests of the cryptoindustry. The possibility of creating a government bitcoin reserve is also being discussed.

It is expected that the new presidential decree will cover the issues of de-banking of cryptocurrencies and abolishing the policy of recording crypto-assets as liabilities for banks.
