Ledger owners received phishing emails about a false data leak.Attackers, acting on behalf of the Ledger hardware wallet support service, sent out a fake notification about the service being hacked, forcing users to reveal their seed phrases. The phishing email warns of a supposed recent data leak and directs wallet owners to a site to โcheck their device.โWhen you access the site, a pop-up window asks for a private key from the wallet in order to gain full control over users' funds. Be careful!
