North Korean hackers BlueNoroff are attacking cryptocurrency users with a new virus.According to Sentinel Labs, PDF files are used to spread the virus. Attackers send out emails containing fake news about cryptocurrency trends.They contain PDF files, which, when opened, download a file containing a virus.This isn’t the first time BlueNoroff has used PDF to attack cryptocurrency users. In May 2023, North Korean hackers were reported to have launched the RustBucker campaign,where a modified PDF viewer was used to inject malicious code.
