Qara Church, one of the oldest Armenian churches and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located in West Azerbaijan. It was built in 302 AD in memory of Thaddeus and Bartholomew. Despite historical destructions, it has been restored multiple times. Its white and black stones, along with its pyramidal domes, add to its stunning appearance. Every year, Christians gather at this site to commemorate Saint Thaddeus.
