Most things weren’t “automated” tbh, just connected to alexa so you can use voice control. Lights by far the most used, but we also had speakers/cameras/hot tub integrated

One cool one, our AC was set up with an Ecobee thermostat and vent covers from flair.co that allow you to set the temp in each room separately for more efficient AC. So you can have only your bedroom vent open at night for example
