Degen was my main side hustle through most of 2024, bringing in a few hundred dollars extra per month... Now that the tipping era is over I need to find a new side income. Maybe I can sell some glitchcam NFTs but I don't expect much from that. I am working on a collection for Manifold. Hmmm... What's the next degen type thing in crypto where people can earn some income by doing some work? How are you making money in crypto rn?

I don't have any suggestions for you other than bounties, and that's kind of piecemeal. Hope to see more experimentation. I especially want to see more options for writers, artists, musicians, etc., to earn income streams in the Farconomy. Revenues from minting are barely even a trickle these days for most writers I know (myself included). It's an excellent suggestion and I should focus on bounties, I've known that a while but been lazy about it besides claiming 1 POIDH so it's a good reminder for me. But yeah that's how I'd want to onboard people. "Here's how to earn some money" not "buy this gambling thing"

Ye gamba canβt be a main source of income OR even fun. Agree with bounties but also contest. Iβm full hammin now, aerodrome LP for it too, hamcaster staking. I like and trust the platypus to keep cooking hard for 3 years. By then itβll have eclipsed degen for sure if Jacek keeps up what heβs doing.

I agree, I keep adding dep tokens whenever I can. Also very interested in Native, I plan to experiment with dot sponsorship and stuff.

Yeah with Native, some kind of simulation "game" where you sponsor onchain AI bots who deploy and trade clankers among other things. Idk it's one of the more interesting projects I'm seeing being built on Farcaster at the moment.
