It uses the @neynar API to fetch all the replies to the cast, then goes through each reply and counts the $DEGEN if the reply was a "direct reply" to the cast. Here is the relevant code snippet (nodeJS): https://gist.github.com/markcarey/2c100f96bf1051f96ead250c9167d906

one solution: find out the comment of the cast,and count the $degen in the comments. the frame's context has the castId info
