interesting insight! I tht this was intended to lower the friction of using other client? the idea is so that u3 could send users to other clients

switching clients is too much friction for end users & clients have zero incentive to send users to another client so no client will end up actually implementing this. Only useful for third parties linking to FC content (link to channel preferred client) which is today nobody would use
