Do practice runs with people with believable authority on ascertaining quality and conciseness of pitches! I invest and build, and I highly appreciated everyone who’s listened to our practice runs to date. Do you want to run one with me? (Other folks in FC offer this as well).

Practice in front of friends, record yourself on audio, record yourself on video. Rinse and repeat. And generate more options. Confidence typically comes from practice and optionality :)

Practice, practice, practice. Start with low risk f&f convo’s, then local angel syndicates, then smaller funds, etc...work your way up to getting in front of your ‘dream’ capital partners.

Practise with investors you don’t care about as much first, go and get/prep the answers to the key questions based on those early calls

Focus on your split finger and slider, but keep a circle change up in your back pocket to really mess with their tempo.
