I’ve heard some comments that “Moxie Earn” makes Moxie token more inflationary. The opposite is actually true though. All of the Moxie that is being rewarded through a “Moxie Earn” cast needs to come from either a market buy, or from earned Moxie that is already circulating. There is also a 5% transaction fee that is burned, so it is actually slightly deflationary. 

So, what we can say is that demand potentially increases while supply decreases. If Moxie Promote becomes a popular option for real advertisement, this “should” be beneficial for price in the long run.

I could have gone even further to say that even in the most extractive scenario, the net effect is reduced supply from Moxie Earn. 

For example someone earns 20k 

They take their own percentage and sell all of it. 

The rest is used to buy/burn Fan tokens for the user, channel and network. There is a moxie fee that is burned on all of those buys. 

Now even if people were to sell equal amounts of those tokens that were just bought/burned, they would also incur a 5% sell fee on each of those. 

That scenario is not really likely to happen that often, but even if it did, the 50k (or more) Moxie that was used to pay the boost is now a lower quantity than it was before being used for moxie promote
