The Celtic Anthropomorphic Sword, also known as the Celtic Sword Type II, is a unique blade design used in a broad variety of proto-Celtic societies across Europe, from Ukraine to Ireland. The defining feature of these swords is the x-shaped hilt, embellished with human-like characteristics. These include heads, and on later models, hands and legs which serve as the pommel and guard.
