Why is the Bitcoin halving important?π Bitcoin halving is important because it cuts the creation of new Bitcoins in half. This, along with the limited total supply of 21 million, makes Bitcoin scarcer. Scarcity, historically followed by increased demand, could push Bitcoin prices up.
