I’ve been involved with Ethereum since 2018, back when gas fees were around 5 to 20 gwei for most transactions and ICOs craze was at its peak. It was a simpler time, but even then, we were talking about scalability and how Ethereum could evolve. This year, I had the honor of volunteering at Devcon 7. It was incredible to see how much the ecosystem has grown. Also, back in 2018, there were talks about introducing “rent fees” for smart contracts to manage storage.
