In the crypto space, it’s extremely common for KOLs to profit off their own followers—often through blatant exploitation. While monetizing an audience happens in many industries, few groups are as shameless as crypto KOLs.  

In other fields, even when people are being “harvested,” they at least receive a product or service in return. But in crypto, all a KOL needs to do is push a completely worthless shitcoin.  

Even if their followers are "dumb money," that doesn't justify a KOL taking advantage of them.  

Many try to excuse their actions with reasoning like, *“If I don’t do it, someone else will.”* But that’s just a way to justify their own lack of integrity.  

At the end of the day, a KOL with principles should never promote worthless tokens to their followers.
