The Kite Runner left me feeling so many things. It’s a story about friends, family, and messing up. I felt really bad for Hassan—he’s such a good guy, but life treats him so unfairly. And Amir? I got mad at him for hurting his best friend and not helping when he should’ve. It made me think about guilt and how scary it is to fix stuff when you’ve done something wrong. But it also taught me that it’s never too late to try and make things better. The book also showed me what life was like in Afghanistan, and it made me understand things I didn’t know before. By the end, even though some parts were really sad, it gave me hope that people can change and fix what’s broken.
