Theres a popular saying: ‘It takes a village to raise a child’ which expresses the importance of having a community right from birth. We learn about life and how to go about it from community. We learn different perspectives and how to create our opinions from what society teaches us. 

Some people will be able to attain success by their efforts alone but most of us will need help from people. It is very true that the people around us will determine how we become. We as humans tend to emulate the behaviours and characters of those around us. So successful friends naturally equals a successful lifestyle because we are able to learn their methods and how to put them into action in order to attain our own success. 

I do believe I become like the people around me that’s why I always make sure to assess the friends I keep regularly to ensure Im not learning bad habits from them.
