The other day @hamud asked me “who do you look up to” and today I have a new addition to that list: Tim Friede

Friede intentionally subjected himself to snake bites for the better part of 25 years and now his body produces the basis for what  very well may become a universal antivenom for all snake bites 

"I couldn't believe it. I really couldn't believe it," he says. "I know I'm doing something for humanity and giving back to science."

25 years is a crazy amount of time ti do this, respect him for his dedication that will eventually help lots of people
