How old is the Pyramid of Djoser really? Under the pyramid there are labyrinths of underground passages 11 km long. In the 20th century, at a depth of 50 m in these catacombs, 40,000 stone vessels were found - crystal, granite, diorite and other stones of varying levels of hardness and complexity of processing. Officially, the pyramid is 4,700 years old. , but the age of the warehouse of stone vessels turned out to be older than the pyramid of Djoser! The pyramid was simply built over the existing tunnels, blocking the entrance to the catacombs.
