This week I built : Hosted Episode 8 of the Onchain Discussion Podcast alongside @folajindayo . As part of the Microsoft Founders Hub, he created a detailed and in-depth video to guide builders from the Base Around the World Buildathon on applying for the Microsoft Founders Hub. The video provided step-by-step instructions, including eligibility criteria, application tips, and the benefits of joining the platform. He also highlighted how builders can use this opportunity to drive onchain innovation, using @kumapee StableFlow as a practical example to showcase the potential for leveraging the platform to scale impactful projects. This week I built: We started content creation onboarding series after seeing a great need for it on the @base ecosystem and we where able to have epi of our twitter space and also our first workshop on the the onchain tools on @base , we did a deep dive into @manifoldxyz Then I also hosted episode 27 of my based twitter spaces where we had a lot of developers come share their experiences on building and also I really gave a lot of tips when it comes to smart contracts and apps.

This week I built: Partnered with Lagos Devcon @baseafrica to host the inaugural Devcon meetup in Africa; - over 100 builders attended. - Talked to a couple of attendees about @base, successfully spiked their interest and onboarded some to Base. Also cohosted Ep.2 of the @base project roasting session and launched Base PopUp City, to celebrate the intersection of technology, music, and culture. This week I built. A lot these past few weeks 💙 I haven’t posted in this channel for some time for many reasons, but nonetheless, I did the following: 🌀 Cohosted an X space w/ @karanpal25 about “Base for Creators” & > 400 people tuned in. 🌀 Created a large @paragraph article “Building on Base: Creators Edition” to support those who want to get onchain as a creator, acting as a guide to help them no matter where they’re on their journey. 🌀 Created & successfully dropped a @base self portrait collection of 7 diptychs: Æmber Woods - w/ utility & mechanics utilizing my own smart contract on @transientlabs for the whole month of Nov. 🌀 Spent hours fixing my NFT display to a new software so I can finally display all onchain artworks I have collected, including @base to do future curations. 🌀 Continuing to support the Base Creators TG chat - we are announcing a new initiative we have been cooking up soon! Oh.. & collected a TON of art on @base ofc😁 see reply w/ 🔗 ↓

This week I built I decided to go out of my way to fulfill @jessepollak vision for @base - "Onboarding a Billion Users to Base" So I visited a barbing salon + laundry shop and spoke to Oluwaseun and his friends about Base. But I encountered a big problem, they hadn't heard about Base or web3 before So I did this.. I took my time to explain the various benefits of coming onchain with Base and web3 in general. At first, they were reluctant and irresponsive but when I broke it down, they became excited. Yes, they wanted to become based! I got Seun a Basename within a few minutes, and invited him to the Base Africa community His apprentice was also interested in coming onchain but the funds were minimal at that point. This week I built: @kokocodes and I cohosted the second episode of the Base Project Roasting Session with over 300+ attendees, inviting some based speakers like @saxenasaheb Founder of FBI, @iamcharis Co-Founder of Based Africa and @ifeoluwa12 Lead at FBI Africa. We invited two projects namely, @onchainmusic, which is a movement that aims to bring 10,000 artists and 100,000 of their fans in the next 3 years and CraftiaxOps, which is a creator and ticketing platform that allows creators to create content and also allows users to earn from creator content. We talked about their history, their business model, their go-to-market strategy and how they plan to get their first 100 customers. It was really exciting, as these projects looked at their project from different perspectives and also got feedback from validating their ideas and future plans.
