Heads are on, exhaust manifold on the right is bolted in, I forgot that one of the head bolts on the left was a pain to get out and got stripped during tear down so project is on hold until next weekend when the replacement part comes in. 

I rolled my push rods - they are all straight and in good condition so no need to replace those. 

It’s important to dip your head bolts in oil and use anti-seize on parts that will get high temp. The cardboard method I did during disassembly is a game changer. 

So far, part 2 is going well. Time for a beer and some billiards. 🍻
