I think both of them can be right. Bukowski’s perspective might hold true for someone in a state of despair who needs hope to find the will to continue. Like a person facing personal failure who uses hope to push forward and rebuild their life. Nietzsche’s view might resonate more with someone trapped in a cycle of false hope. Like an individual clinging to an unattainable dream, refusing to face reality which prolongs their suffering.

From the angle of reality, man hopes sometimes are unrealistic but unrealistic hope is what keeps some man moving forward. What do you think 🤔

That's what my conclusion is about. Depending on the perspective of things, either one of them can be right.
