Hot take: Remote work will fix the world.

Location will become more and more irrelevant for work, more and more relevant for leisure.

Low latency, and high bandwidth connectivity will become more and more important.

 and similar services are definitely key here, we would still need land-based solutions for redundancy though, especially for critical scenarios where the connection cannot be interrupted.

Power obviously needs to be uninterruptable as well.

Remote work won't be performed only at your desk, you'll be operating a robot of some sort where it's needed, and you will get paid for the service being offered, not based on your location.

Being able to create value where it's needed is key, not your skin color, sex, etc...

This is the trickle-down that can work.

Imagine a teenager living in one of the poorest countries in the world, working on multiple jobs that would feel like a videogame to him. 

In reality, he would be in his room, but he would be controlling something in the real world.

This is where Web3 can really come into play... people could just exchange value from each other, in whatever token they see fit... $ETH, $BTC, $DOGE, $USD or it could be a bartering agreement too.

I can fix your toilet if you iron my shirts for a week.

Something like that.

Credit could be based on what you own but also on how well you perform, if you keep your word, if you deliver and on time on your commitments.

Meritocracy. Reputation.

This is the "social score" that can work, the one that is market-based not centralized by the governments.

We won't need minimum wages, let human capitalism express itself. 

Let markets be markets.

Let's create blockchains, not platforms and monopolies.

Imagine how much wealth that teenage boy I was talking about earlier could bring to his community...

Once he's done he can spend that "money" where he is located, creating demand for goods and services that, equally, could be performed by people on the other side of the planet.

Language barrier you say? Please!

LLMs will help with that, with real-time voice translation both ways. 

UX is paramount, it has to feel natural for it to work.

The face of these robots could show the face of the user, similar to what the Apple Vision Pro does with the eyes right now... again, UX. 

People would be able to see if they are interacting with a boy or a woman or an avatar, whatever they choose they wanna wear on that day...

This is what I think is the metaverse. We already live in one, we just use primitive input and output hardware.

Our senses have to become more naturally connected with what we are trying to control.

Millions of lines of code have been written in the gaming industry to handle stuff that could be repurposed to handle the basics of certain tasks. 

Let's repurpose that.

Humans can always intervene whenever the AI that controls the robot can't proceed further.

Schools are meant to prepare us for being productive citizens. Taxpayers. Slaves. (ok I'll stop here).

How about learning by doing?
How about allowing kids to play a real life Role Play Game?

Dad: "whad did you learn today kiddo?"

Son: "today I have built a mahogany table, harvested tomatoes, written some code, drove a lady to the airport, made a few friends from 3 continents"

Dad: "I am proud of you, but you should really read some books too!"

You'll be wearing something like an $AAPL Vision Pro or $META Quest 3, but a cheaper, better version of it.

Right now hardware is like the first cellphones, we need to get to the iPhone, progress will be faster this time around, because everything compounds.
