what if every ghiblified image paid royalties to Miyazaki-san? especially if it’s been monetized? blockchain feels like the obvious solution, but how do we retroactively credit original creators and put IP onchain? we live in exciting yet imperfect times, but I also know we are on the path towards better solutions

It’s possible to crawl the casts and index them. Make it easy for ppl to pay the creators. Keep the payment low but consequential. High volume would yield a decent collective payment. People want to support artists. Give them an easy to use solution and they will do the right thing.
