As a person who spent 7 years considering phones and other tech that can be gamed by ringers like this. I can’t say I’m surprised that this happened - should worldcoin orb hubs pop up in cities in some parts of the country, you’re going to see the same thing happen here. Seems like the way the incentives are structured, the fraud isn't so bad, and can easily be recovered from. The fraud also gets more apparent as more people join the network. Maybe one of my hottest takes is that Worldcoin is some of the coolest and most important bits of privacy tech we're working on as a species.
