What are some ways in which expensive products can be worse than cheaper ones?

Examples that come to my mind:

* Expensive clothes can be much less convenient to clean
* In expensive hotel rooms it's often harder to figure out how to turn off all the lights
* Expensive restaurants often have less choice in menus

Expensive sunglasses break more easily than cheap ones.

LensCrafters does this annoying thing where they buy up quality brands, and then glide on their reputation, selling the sunglasses at the same price, but manufacturing 10x cheaper. They did it with Oakley, then Revo, etc.
The general rule is, if you can buy it at Sunglass Hut, then it's already too late.
