Protip: to avoid your phone being hijacked by rogue towers, you can go to the dialer on Android and type: *#*#4636#*#*

Then go into "phone information" and hit the dropdown to say "NR Only". This means only connect to anything via 5G. If you live in a more remote area you can enable LTE if you must, but NR Only is ideal. Everything else is danger.

We (@3num) are on a mission to fix the broken telephony networks. Step one is to decouple your phone number from the IMEI by utilizing the data networks. Step two is upgrading the SMS and voice calls to happen over a new E2EE DePIN protocol.

The answer is *probably* yes, I feel like I've seen instructions to do it in the past, but not seeing anything consistent in my searches at the moment 🤔
