Cc @accountless.eth Signal in more Consumer friendly the product we want but don’t get

Backup features have regularly been used by bad actors to dump the contents of user's phones without their permission. IMO Signal isn't strict enough about this. Disappearing messages should be forced with a 4w maximum allowed length.

Completely befuddled why anyone would want to lug their old messages around forever.

I also wish Signal did better, but feel a little inadequate judging them. Tricky to do both when you have to support millions of users globally on a shoestring budget / no ability to give out equity.

Hoping Daimo will excel at this intersection as it grows!
