hot take: the DeFi protocols that will fare best in this bear market are those with teams that have ‘08 TradFi experience (rare). Bitcoin hasn’t even seen a recession or depression yet.

?? The point of defi is to rely on transparency and math, not on the steady hand of an experienced team Uniswap, aave and other primitives are doing fine because they are well-understood immutable contracts, the sun still rises once every 24 hours, x*y is still equal to k

agree with you. pure DeFi projects will continue to excel and operate BAU. I meant to call out the major theme across the 2023 crypto predictions: moving real world assets on-chain. These RWA protocols aren’t 100% transparent and don’t rely exclusively on math (Maker included). Do you see these as DeFi? Thoughts?
