I think this ascribes too much agency to these “malthusians”. The idea that there is a small group somewhere that’s In Charge is seductive but wrong.

That’s not to say there’s no antisocial collusion—just that it’s more diffuse than that.

Nobody has a master plan for this stuff.

The malthusians pushing this globalist, anti-human, godless agenda to break your ties to love (e.g. love of god, country, family, etc.) til your only connection is to the totalitarian One World Government you’re solely reliant on for your bread (“eat the bugs”) & circuses (“NFLX & chill”). They hate you.
