what was your journey as an art collector onchain, did you already have an interest in art irl or was it something you grew to appreciate along the way in crypto? also would love to hear thoughts from your pov here on the general importance of collecting cultural artifacts in relation to the crypto overall

i always thought art was really cool. loved art class as a kid, enjoyed art history as an adult. love going to museums and understanding creative minds and processes but i never owned much because i didn't have the funds or the space...

crypto unlocked funds and i liked the idea of collecting without physical inventory! it took me a while to get the concept of digital art as NFTs though, ngl didn't dive in until i left my day job in Jan 2021 start off with 1 CryptoPunk, and then i i discovered on-chain gen art and the rest is wallet history
