In what ways does the context of human involvement/intervention impact the significance of a piece of art? As in, how much does the process and the human control/involvement in that process mean compared with strictly emotional evocation it elicits?

it means a lot. the way i think about art is a series of layers: 1) what do i see when i look at this work 2) what does it mean to me 3) what does it mean to others 4) what does it mean to the artist 5) why did the artist create it 6) who is the artist and why are they worth paying attention to now as for process...

...i will say that is collector-dependent some might be fine stopping at layer 1 above and not going any further, or 2 or 3 i like to understand how a work was created. to me, it adds to its story and significance and that's why i love on-chain gen art so much. artists creating machines which create art. beautiful
