I think we need to be more critical about the argument that people in crypto need to support Donald Trump because of Biden’s anti crypto stance… Particularly those donating large sums of money. Is it okay when you leverage your financial power to shape policy, but not when the banks/corporate powers do it? Is crypto solely about deregulation so that privileged people can continue to make more money at any cost? Is the transformative talk about decentralization just that, talk? Is this what crypto culture boils down to, hypocrisy?

Yeah it's an extremely shortsighted view. Even completely ignoring all social issues, his tariffs and tax cuts will be disastrous for the entire economy.

Short sighted is exactly the word. It seems America’s polarized style of politics is conditioning people to be extremely reactive and short sighted.

(i also think a significant number of crypto people secretly hate america, or at least the american government, and are praying for its downfall)

Brackets = internet whispering right? (100% on board with that theory, my side theory is that due to devices and social media everyone also now has attention issues and can’t keep up with the influx of info to actually seek out “truths” so the world is just getting distracted & dumber)
