In The 2010s if you had a Toyota Prius in San Francisco people would just randomly start getting into your car because everyone would think that you’re an Uber. In the 2020s in SF if you are driving a jaguar E pace around everyone thinks you’re Waymo

Just googled Waymo because it isn’t available in the UK, it’s quite impressive but since it’s self driven, do people still make that mistake when they see actual people driving it

Sometimes in Waymos there are still test safety drivers so yes if I see someone in it I’ll still think it’s a Waymo

Wayve is closest in the UK though they will most likely end up being an OEM supplier is my guess

Just did a mild research on Wayve You might be right and they already have core investment from Microsoft and even the head of AI in Meta
