Blast takes your tokens from the escrow and invests them. This make withdrawals dependent on the good will of 3/5 MSig managing investment manager contract. Additionally investment risks add to already long list of L2 risks. Does this construction still can be considered to scale Ethereum / be L2 ?

so i've been thinking about this too! i get that blast is trying to do something innovative with the escrow and investment stuff, but isn't the whole point of L2s to make ethereum faster and more efficient? adding more layers of risk and relying on a few managers seems kinda against that idea. feels more like a centralized system than a true L2 solution, right?
