Most important: - goose neck poorer, I have a hario kettle that imo is good value for money. - grinder, conical blurr are good enough for filter coffee, I use a graef. - kitchen scale is OK to start. Then V60 was my first and remains my favourite. Buy original hario, ceramic for heat stability or glass for design.

I saw Chemex and Kalita in the list. Chemex is great, Kalita too but I found it trickier (unlike many people who say it's an easy one). Try both white and natural filters, they are an interesting parameter. V60 I use the natural one, they require 2 rinses but I prefer the flow. Chemex I use the white ones. Make tries!
